The valve-regulated lead-acid battery (VRLA) also known as the cathode absorption lead-acid battery, is a high-tech lead-acid battery that has been created in the last 10 years. Characteristics of valve-regulated lead-acid batteries

The valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery’s negative electrode has a larger capacity than its positive electrode, so when the positive electrode gas is released in the later stages of charging, it will recombine with the released gas to form water again rather than hydrogen. The flow of oxygen discharged from the positive electrode to the negative electrode to generate water is accelerated using a new type of ultra-fine glass fiber separator. Additionally, the separator features a powerful adsorption function that prevents electrolyte overflow caused by dumping the battery. A premium alloy increases the gas’s overpotential and significantly lowers its release.  The equipped charger is used to charge the valve-regulated lead-acid battery, which requires a charging current within the charging voltage range and maintains the voltage at the rated value.
